Band-aid Video Revamp

  1. Hey Peter, from the EE TEAM. This video was good. I like how you spoke clearly, typed the steps you were presenting, and your credit page was great. I think that you should have tried to get yourself some face time. Maybe show a staged accident happening of something in the beginning. Also not really sure where you were going with the monkey sound. Overall nice video.

  2. Hi Peter!
What was the sound at the start of your video?!? It was funny, but a little distracting. Nice, slow demonstration of the technique including pauses. Who was your intended audience? Great song - very funny:)

  3. Hi Peter! Your video was really cute, the song would be great for elementary school kids, but I think hearing it at the beginning might be better. Also, maybe having the sound of a child crying from being hurt would tie in better than the monkey sound? Great job!

  4. Hi Peter! I like your video but based on your content I think it would be best to re-name your video something like--"Proper Wound Care". Maybe re-think the screaming monkeys and add something like siren or a crying child.

  5. The sounds are a little loud and don't relate to the topic. Also I agree with someone saying to lead into the film with maybe someone falling in a silly way, students would find it funny and it would get them a little more interested. Comedy sells. Your instructions are clear and well thought out which is good but you need a little more enthusiasm.

  6. Hey Peter, I am from the EE Team. I watched your video and I thought it was interesting. I wasn't sure how the sound effects were relevant to your video but it could help to keep the students interested. Being that this is a video geared towards students, maybe you could incorporate more student-friendly images.

  7. Ok, you had me at the first monkey sound. My 6 yr. old was cracking up (he's in first grade, so the song was particularly appealing to him--P.S. He noticed one type-o :>). I wasn't sure about the monkey sound, and I actually thought your knee was an arm (not that you have weird knees or anything, but you could've started further back and zoomed in). It looked like a pumped bicep, and I immediately imagined the wound to be a monkey bite--I was waiting for an Australian accent to chime in and say how daaaangerous howler monkeys in the Costa Rican rainforest could be! It was very whimsical and spontaneous feeling, although you may have had a lot more forethought than it appeared (a good thing). Overall it was effective, although somewhat random. I laughed, I cried, ****

  8. Hysterical :) If your intended audience was young children, the monkey sound was a great attention grabber. The song at the end was also cute. I had a hard time reading the font (size and color), but other than that...awesome!
